With investments of 14 million euros... Treegas project for composite gas cylinders

In a significant step to boost national industry, Walid Gamal El-Din, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone, witnessed the laying of the foundation stone for the TRIGAS project, a facility for filling and manufacturing fiberglass composite LPG cylinders, in the Sokhna Industrial Zone.

The project reflects the state's commitment to developing local industry and localizing advanced technology.

Treegas Project

Treegas project is being built in the Sokhna Industrial Zone at a total cost of €14 million, or approximately EGP 811,000,000.

This significant investment reflects the Suez Canal Economic Zone's commitment to providing an attractive environment for local and international investors and providing the necessary support to stimulate industrial projects in Egypt.

The first phase aims to build a factory for manufacturing and filling composite LPG cylinders, with a production capacity of up to 500,000 cylinders annually, using advanced technology in accordance with international standards, with the transfer and localization of technology and the establishment of the necessary infrastructure, providing 250 direct job opportunities. In addition, the second phase of the project aims to establish assembly lines for gas pressure regulators and valves for the cylinders manufactured in the first phase, with an investment cost of 7 million euros, with the aim of localizing the technology for manufacturing these supplies.
